Meet Mr Rahul Jain
I have been a doctor for over 30 years, specialising in orthopaedics since 1995. I went to medical school in Sheffield, did my basic surgical training in Nottingham and higher surgical training in the West Midlands.
I completed Fellowship Training in Oxford, Canada, USA and England before taking up an NHS Consultant post in York, specialising in and developing the hip and knee service. I Consult for several international orthopaedic companies and have developed implants and taught Consultants from the UK and abroad.
I worked in the NHS for over 25 years before moving into private practice.
I have provided medicolegal reports since 2000 and medical negligence reports since 2008. I currently do more than 1,000 medicolegal reports and 60 medical negligence reports a year. I have attended court and have been successful when presenting my evidence to date. I aim to give a fair, impartial report, based on experience and knowledge, in a prompt manner.
I have a team of four staff who are available to arrange appointments, respond to queries promptly and process all reports in a timely manner.
